Principal / CEOMatt Liu leads Koala Design & Build with close to a decade of experience across construction, development coordination, supplier relationships, and project execution. With strong supplier ties in Qingdao, China, and professional exposure across the East Coast, Midwest, and Southern California, he brings a cross-regional perspective to construction management, procurement coordination, and U.S. market execution.

Alvin Yang
CCOAlvin supports multi million value projects from early planning through final closeout, with a focus on pre-construction coordination, schedule development, trade sequencing, documentation control, and owner communication. He helps organize multiple scopes at once, keeping timelines, inspections, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout items moving in a clear and controlled manner.
His approach is proactive and schedule-driven, emphasizing early problem-solving, clean coordination between trades, and steady communication. He helps keep projects accountable from kickoff to turnover, with the goal of reducing delays and maintaining momentum through each phase of construction.
Jackie Liu
Project ManagerJackie manages construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong understanding of scheduling, trade coordination, documentation, compliance, and owner communication. He is experienced in coordinating multiple scopes at the same time while keeping project timelines, inspections, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout requirements organized.
His leadership style is practical and schedule-focused, with an emphasis on finishing projects efficiently with minimal issues. By keeping compliance items, warranties, as-builts, manuals, and punch-list work organized, he helps owners receive a cleaner closeout package and stronger long-term support after construction is complete.
Zoyo Zuo
Marketing DirectorZOYO oversees jobsite safety, field compliance, daily coordination, and site accountability, while also supporting interior design and construction drawing updates. Her role includes OSHA / Cal/OSHA awareness, toolbox talks, hazard analysis, safety documentation, site observations, and leadership updates.
She also assists with space planning, material selections, field measurements, and drawing revisions to keep design and construction aligned.
She works closely with project managers, designers, trade leads, and field crews to maintain safe, efficient, and professional jobsite operations.

Bobby Im
Project ManagementBobby Im brings decades of electrical engineering and field coordination experience, with a strong background in warehouse mechanization, industrial electrification, and equipment driven facility upgrades. His experience includes supporting warehouse automation and electrical infrastructure during the 1990s logistics expansion period.
He also brings international hardware knowledge developed through Korean technical experience, with familiarity across European and North American electrical standards. This cross-standard understanding helps Koala support overseas equipment vendors and industrial clients by helping translate equipment requirements into practical California field execution.
